Moving boards on your TV

Clover sync is Coming soon. Your board works next to your Clover register today. Here is exactly what that means.
When you change a price at the register, you do not want to change it again on the screen. Two places to update means one place gets forgotten, and then the board and the register disagree in front of a customer.
That is the problem Clover sync is meant to fix. We are building it. We want to be clear about what is ready and what is not. Our own shop's register is Clover, so we live with this gap every day.

The screen turns on and off with your opening and closing times. No remote.
Change a price at your register, then send us the change by text or the contact form. We update the board.
Nothing about your register changes. You keep using Clover as you do now.
All 5 TVs in our own shop run this way every day.

Our plan is simple. Change an item or a price in Clover, and your board changes by itself. Photos and sold-out items come along too.
You make a key in your own Clover settings and give it to us. You do not need an App Market install.
We build the sync so you are not asked to match every item to a spot on the board.
Mark an item sold out in Clover and it leaves the board.
Later you will also be able to install from the Clover App Market. The key above is the default.
We will not give a date until we are sure.
The answer changes who bills you and how your data moves. An App Market app is billed through Clover. A key you make yourself in Clover settings lets the company read your menu without an install. Ask which door they use, and whether there is a second one.
Some products make you tie each Clover item to a spot on the board. With 60 items, that is 60 matches, and every new item means another one. Ask how long setup took the last shop. Ours is built so you are not asked to match item by item.
A board with only names and prices looks like a list. Ask if photos come across, if modifiers like “extra shot” show up, and if an item marked sold out at the register leaves the screen. Each is a separate yes or no.
Ask for a number, in minutes. “Real fast” is not a number. If the board lags the register by an hour, a customer will see the old price and ask for it.
The right answer is “your last menu.” Ours saves your menu on the TV and catches up when the internet is back.
Ask us the same questions. We will tell you what is live and what is not.
No. Clover sync is Coming soon. Today your board works next to your Clover register, and you send us changes to update it.
Not for the plan we are building. You will connect with a key from your own Clover settings. An App Market install is an optional second door we plan to add later.
